Kairos
The date was Tuesday the 17th of October. Upon arrival at school we jumped in the bus and began our journey to maynooth, where we spend a day at an institution known as the Kairos. The Kairos was a movie studio where we would have the opportunity to perform our own live show.My job was that of camera man.
My job was one of the most important it was my job to have the camera in place and ready for each segment of the show. I would have to have the focus, focused and the camera zoomed in on the presenters.
I had to move my camera as the opening show finished and while the other camera kept on the presenters of that show, I moved mine over to the next, "CumminsCorner" with Jack Cummins.
I was given a radio set along with the camera so I could communicate with the other cameras and the studio during the shoot. This had mixed success as occasionally everyone would speak over each other and disrupt the order of shooting.
After a couple of practice runs we were ready to do it for real. The show wpuld start with Jessica and Charlotte introducing the show and the running order. (Charlotte was dressed as a man) Next was "Cummings Corner" where Jack Cummings would interview the infamous Mexican druglord, Pablo Moffcobar.
Following that was the fashion shoot. First up was Tinman modled by Sean who ripped off his costume to pose for the camera. Next was Sophie muddled by Jake. While Jake was posing Sean ran behind set to our next show. The following two modules were Crystal modled by Paddy and Saorsie modled by Jack. The final modle was Chef Micky modled by Rory who pulled the straps of his apron at the camera.
As that ended I wheeled my camera back over to Cummins Corner where Sean and Aran where waiting for the Cecil the Lion interview. Sean was the scientist who shot the "lion" while on hunt in Africa and Aran was the now dead homeless man Sean thought was a lion.
after that segment was finished Jack Cummins ran over to the next desk for Cummins sport where at the end he comically stands up as if we have cut to reveal he was wearing no trousers. The show was ended with Lucia's weather before Jennifer and Charlotte signed off everyone piled in front of Claire's camera cheering as the credits rolled.
